PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leeroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean-Marc Mormeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leeroy comes to the cage accompanied by Boondocks Theme Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leeroy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mormeck has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Some bone on bone action there as Mormeck checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Leeroy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mormeck.
Bruce Leeroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leeroy throws a lazy right hand but Mormeck sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mormeck lands a good shot there. Leeroy covers up! Mormeck smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Leeroy to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Mormeck jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
