The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Solomon blocks a head kick by Kong.
Kong throws a body punch but Solomon moves out of range.
Kong missing with a left hand there. Solomon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kong thows a left - swing and a miss!

Solomon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kong's guard.

Solomon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kong can pounce on him.
Kong has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Solomon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kong throws the left hand but Solomon avoids the punch easily.

Solomon shoots in looking for a takedown. Kong tries to sprawl out of it but Solomon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
