Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Calvin Brown!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lewis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Lewis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brown defends well and Lewis ends up having to push Brown into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lewis blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Brown misses with a hook to the ribs.
Brown works on Lewis's body with a couple of short punches.
Brown is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lewis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Brown pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Brown counters with a left and a right that stings Lewis.

Lewis shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lewis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lewis distracts Brown with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Lewis is stalling in the full guard.
Jake Lewis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Brown scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Brown just misses with a punch to the body.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Brown stuns Lewis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lewis dodges the punch combination from Brown.
Jake Lewis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lewis or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown, which made it look bad.

Lewis cracks Brown with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Lewis immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Brown is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lewis!
