The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey misses with a double jab.
Lemu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anstey.
Anstey throws a push kick but Lemu slaps the foot to one side.
Lemu throws a body punch but Anstey moves out of range.
Anstey just misses with a punch to the body.
Lemu throws a series of punches but Anstey avoids them all with ease.
Lemu has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Anstey lands with a thumping leg kick.
Anstey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lemu.
Lemu needs to keep his hands up - Anstey had a free shot at his head there.

Anstey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lemu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lemu's corner calls for a 1-2. Lemu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lemu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A jab lands there for Anstey.
Lemu avoids the body shot from Anstey.
Anstey lands with a hook. Lemu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lemu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Anstey scores with a jab to the jaw.
Lemu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Anstey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Anstey steps into range and cracks Lemu with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Lemu flops backwards and Anstey dives into his guard looking to finish!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Anstey throws a jab when Lemu was well out of range.
Lemu throws a right hand that Anstey ducks under and follows up with a left that Anstey also avoids with ease.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Anstey, as that shot connected.

A jab from Lemu does it's job there.
Anstey moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Lemu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Anstey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anstey feints and then cracks Lemu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lemu down.
Anstey connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lemu. Lemu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Anstey cracks Lemu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Anstey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lemu.

Lemu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lemu wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice uppercut there from Anstey.
Lemu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anstey counters with a nice uppercut.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Anstey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Anstey counters with a beautiful punch that sends Lemu to the canvas!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bunny Anstey dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Anstey weaves into range and cracks Lemu right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lemu goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Anstey is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Bunny Anstey decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
