Smith has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Alexander Smith has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roberto Piras!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piras shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Piras to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Smith is breathing heavily.

Piras drives through and clinches with Smith against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Piras.
Piras has Smith pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Smith manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Piras jumps guard and drags Smith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Piras is on top in guard.

Piras drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Piras seems to have locked his on tight now - Smith screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Piras, as he picks up the win!
