Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Mancine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Kehoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kehoe's choice of entrance music: Angel Of Death. Ray Mancine could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Andrew Kehoe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Mancine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Kehoe!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kehoe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kehoe throws a leg kick that misses.
Kehoe throws a low kick but Mancine moves out of range easily.
We've been informed that Kehoe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Mancine closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mancine takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Mancine throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kehoe was covering up waiting for the punch and Mancine finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mancine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mancine won't allow Kehoe to sweep him here.

Kehoe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mancine haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kehoe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mancine wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mancine remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Mancine sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kehoe is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kehoe tries to buck Mancine off but Mancine is having none of it.
Mancine creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kehoe sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Mancine tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kehoe's legs.
Mancine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kehoe manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Mancine is staying active underneath Kehoe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kehoe is just content to waste time from the top position. Mancine takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kehoe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mancine throws out the jab.

Mancine stands up over Kehoe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kehoe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mancine.

Mancine stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mancine's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kehoe under the eye.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kehoe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mancine closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mancine works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kehoe tries to lock up and control but Mancine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mancine is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kehoe can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mancine prevents Kehoe from getting the reversal.

Kehoe wants to control but Mancine is having none of it.
Mancine lands a couple of good shots and Kehoe has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mancine, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
