The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexeyev chopping away at his opponent's legs.

It looks like Harold JCrockett has been cut.
Alexeyev cracks JCrockett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Alexeyev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Foot Loves in the buildup to the fight.
Sloppy strikes from JCrockett. Those never looked like landing.
Alexeyev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Alexeyev has closed the distance and engaged JCrockett in a clinch.
JCrockett is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

JCrockett has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Alexeyev is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Andrei Alexeyev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harold JCrockett.
