The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiMa throws a looping overhand right but Bednyakov ducks down to avoid it.
Nich DiMa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bednyakov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
DiMa throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bednyakov on the side of the head.
Bednyakov shoots for a double leg takedown but DiMa sprawls well. He's pushed Bednyakov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
DiMa dives in and grabs Bednyakov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bednyakov pushes down on DiMa's head and hops out.
