The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palma tries to clinch up.

Condit closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

and Condit decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Palma's guard.
Palma wants to get back to his feet but Condit is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Condit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palma swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Condit is in close to Palma's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Condit throws a strike but Palma rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Palma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Condit swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Palma connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Condit covering up! Palma comes in with a big uppercut and Condit goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
