PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordon Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Prater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jordon Buckner has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jordon Buckner seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buckner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Prater tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Buckner is in Prater's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prater looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Buckner throwing strikes but missing.
Prater looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Buckner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Prater working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Buckner.
Buckner really is a fat lump.
Buckner throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Buckner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Buckner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buckner is standing up over Prater. Prater looks to escape but Buckner dives into side control.

Buckner is working to tighten his grip on Prater's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Prater has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Buckner is really squeezing tight and eventually Prater passes out! Buckner breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
