Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Smiles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smiles comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden- Ghostface Killah. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Smiles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiles misses with a double jab.
Smiles cracks a nice hook into Diaz's ribs.

Diaz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smiles, pushing him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Diaz scores with a nice short uppercut.

Diaz jumps guard and drags Smiles to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Smiles is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Madz that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smiles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Diaz is tightening it up a little... Smiles has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Smiles reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Smiles taps out! Nice BJJ there by Diaz!
