Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Freedom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht comes to the ring accompanied by Fanfare. The crowd seem to be enjoying Freedom's choice of entrance music: Star Spangled Banner. Chip Freedom has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freedom misses with an uppercut. Dincht saw that one coming.
Freedom takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Freedom throws a jab when Dincht was well out of range.

and Dincht makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Dincht feints and as Freedom raises his hands in defense, Dincht changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Freedom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dincht.

Freedom takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dincht on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Freedom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dincht swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dincht lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Freedom lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dincht's sensitive parts.
The fighters circle momentarily. Freedom darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dincht scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dincht has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dincht stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freedom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dincht has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Freedom is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dincht yanks on the arm and Freedom is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dincht.
