Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Silva pulls Rojas into guard.
Rojas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Silva has his foot on Rojas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rojas works his way back into a safe position though.
Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Rojas is proving a slippery customer.
Rojas wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Rojas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rojas is aware though and is defending well.

Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rojas defends well.

Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rojas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Silva is tightening it up a little... Rojas has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rojas reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rojas taps out! Nice BJJ there by Silva!
