Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cooter Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Valakas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Titties and Beer. Valakas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coolio - Gangster's Paradise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fabricio Valakas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Brown's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Valakas is trying to stick to Brown's back but Brown is turning into Valakas. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Valakas's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Brown.

Valakas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valakas keeps working.
Brown is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Valakas is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Brown is stalling here. Valakas is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brown seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Valakas has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
