Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marvin DeMartian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goku takes the fight into the clinch.
Goku struggles to land a body shot inside as DeMartian controls his hands.
DeMartian is pressed up against the cage. Goku has hold of a leg and is looking to drag DeMartian down to the mat. DeMartian avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
DeMartian throws a series of punches but Goku moves out of range.
DeMartian shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Goku sprawls well. Goku wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. DeMartian gets slowly back to his feet.
Goku misses with a two punch combination.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
DeMartian is trying to maintain a safe position but Goku gets an underhook and turns DeMartian into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goku tightens his grip and picks DeMartian up, before dumping him to the ground. DeMartian manages to land in guard.

DeMartian parries the strikes from Goku easily there. Goku is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable DeMartian to escape.

DeMartian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goku tries to avoid it but DeMartian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goku to the ground. Goku escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from DeMartian.
Goku is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by DeMartian.
DeMartian goes for a double leg but Goku avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Goku continues to drive forward.

DeMartian blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
DeMartian tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Goku smiles and moves away.

DeMartian closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - DeMartian lands in his opponent's guard.
Goku has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Well Goku has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
