PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rock Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kilafwa Tatlumahi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes to the cage accompanied by Hell Yeah. Rock Machine is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine tries to clinch but Tatlumahi moves out of range.

Machine misses with a takedown attempt - Tatlumahi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Machine moves in looking to clinch but Tatlumahi pushes him off.

Machine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tatlumahi tries to avoid it but Machine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tatlumahi to the ground. Tatlumahi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tatlumahi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Machine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Machine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tatlumahi avoids it really well and circles away.

Machine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tatlumahi smiles and moves away.
Machine doesn't manage to clinch there - Tatlumahi circles away.
Machine lands with a nice combination. Tatlumahi backs away looking to recover.
Tatlumahi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Machine's calf.

Machine decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Machine connects with a nice short shot to Tatlumahi's temple.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rock Machine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Machine goes for a double leg but Tatlumahi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tatlumahi continues to drive forward.

Machine jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tatlumahi walks away with a smile on his face. Machine gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Machine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tatlumahi but Tatlumahi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tatlumahi, as that shot connected.

Tatlumahi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A frustrated look appears on Tatlumahi's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Machine shoots in looking for a takedown. Tatlumahi tries to sprawl out of it but Machine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tatlumahi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Machine closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tatlumahi quickly recovers to half guard.

Machine is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tatlumahi has managed to free his arm - good work.
Tatlumahi is trying to control but can't.

Machine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tatlumahi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Machine.

Tatlumahi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Machine's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Machine's back!

Tatlumahi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
