Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Koltsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Still has chosen Dr. Dre - Still D.R.E. as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirill Koltsov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dre Still!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Still closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Koltsov quickly recovers to half guard.

Still is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Still is trying to work for a kimura but Koltsov is defending well.
Koltsov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Still on the ground.
Koltsov is looking for a sweep. Still is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koltsov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Koltsov tries to get out of the position.

Still wants to work for an arm triangle but Koltsov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Still looking to control but Koltsov is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Koltsov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Still misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Still has hold of Koltsov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Koltsov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Koltsov is squirming around, avoiding Still's attempts to control the action.

Still looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Koltsov sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Still is trying to control. Koltsov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Still might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Koltsov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Still jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Koltsov manages to avoid the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Still tries to keep at a distance but Koltsov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Koltsov misses with some punches.
Koltsov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Koltsov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Still backwards.

Still drops down looking for an ankle pick but Koltsov pulls his leg out and moves away.

Still keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Still closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Still is trying to control. Koltsov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Still missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Koltsov keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Still is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Still works his way into side control.
Koltsov is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Still tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Still has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Still with the ground and pound but Koltsov regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Still is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Still moves into full mount! Koltsov won't be happy about that!

Still is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Koltsov is forced to tap! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dre Still! Dre Still retains his welterweight title!
A very excited looking Dre Still made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
