Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guseppe Carliano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ferenz Balas!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balas misses with a hook
and Carliano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carliano tries to land a front kick but Balas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've been informed that Balas has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Balas fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Balas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carliano on the side of the head.
Balas checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Balas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Balas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Oooooh!!! Balas has knocked Carliano down with a huge combo! Balas steps away and waves a wobbly Carliano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Carliano is rocked!

It looks like Guseppe Carliano has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balas lands a body shot.
Oh Carliano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Balas throws a poor cross that misses
and Carliano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Balas misses with a straight right.
A swing and a miss from Balas.
Carliano seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Balas shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Carliano is backing up but Balas catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Carliano covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Balas Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ferenz Balas!
