Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mays darts in looking for a takedown but Rua gets double underhooks and turns Mays into the cage.
Mays jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rua walks away with a smile on his face. Mays gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rua closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rua lands in his opponent's guard.
Mays throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mays has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rua can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rua is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rua drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rua jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rua seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Rua seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mays is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
