Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iman Sukarno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iman Sukarno has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Iman Sukarno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Scott!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukarno misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Scott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sukarno pushes Scott off looking to stand but Scott dives back in and keeps control.
Scott is thwarting Sukarno's attempts to control the position.
Scott is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Sukarno is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sukarno is looking to control Scott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sukarno avoid being mounted?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sukarno takes the fight into the clinch.
Sukarno can't break the clinch.
Sukarno dodges an elbow strike from Scott.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Scott obliges.
Sukarno blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Scott drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sukarno gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Scott pulls Sukarno into guard.
Sukarno wants to get up but he can't break Scott's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sukarno really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Sukarno decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Scott, up you get!
Scott looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Scott tries to clinch there but Sukarno circles away.

and Scott counters with a shoot takedown. Sukarno fights it but they end up in guard.
Scott prevents Sukarno from getting back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Scott looking to sit in guard and control but Sukarno gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Sukarno gets to his feet - Scott follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Scott dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



Sukarno closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scott misses with a double jab

and Sukarno counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sukarno.
Sukarno lands a hook that snaps the head of Scott backwards.
Scott throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Sukarno tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt - Sukarno sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Sukarno manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Scott keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Sukarno tries to pull guard but Scott holds him up against the cage and eventually Sukarno drops back down to his feet.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Scott is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sukarno is defending well for now.

Scott manages to break the clinch.
Sukarno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scott tries to avoid it but Sukarno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scott to the ground. Scott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Scott throws a body shot but no joy.
The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sukarno slips a straight right by Scott.
Scott takes a swing at Sukarno's ribcage but misses.
Scott fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sukarno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Sukarno, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Sukarno against the cage but Sukarno circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Scott blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Scott is trying to push Sukarno away but Sukarno has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Sukarno just misses with a elbow thrown towards Scott's brow.
Sukarno pushes off an throws an elbow but Scott leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Scott wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sukarno wants to get back to striking at distance but Scott won't allow it.

Sukarno throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Scott blocks it with crossed arms.

Scott breaks the clinch.
Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Sukarno sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Scott tries to circle away but Sukarno has him pinned against the cage.
Sukarno is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Iman Sukarno will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but Sukarno manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Sukarno tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sukarno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Scott has picked Sukarno up - he's going for a ride! Scott dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Sukarno's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sukarno is controlling Scott's posture.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sukarno throws his legs up looking for a submission but Scott uses it to pass to side control.
Sukarno manages to work his way to half guard, despite Scott's best efforts.
Sukarno tries to get to full guard but Scott has control of the leg.

I would just about give that final round to George Scott.
I think Scott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, George Scott was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
