Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Matenga!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matenga drives through and clinches with Fenix against the cage.
Fenix presses Matenga against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Fenix softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Fenix manages to break the clinch.
Fenix throws a shot to the body.
Fenix scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Roy Matenga has been cut.
Fenix feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Matenga sprawling to the canvas! Matenga rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fenix finish him?!
Matenga is rocked!

Fenix clinches with his opponent.
Matenga is still on wobbly legs! Can Fenix finish him?
Fenix stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fenix creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Matenga with a big uppercut! Matenga tries to clinch up but Fenix pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Matenga to the mat! Matenga covers up and Fenix unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marcus Fenix!
Marcus Fenix bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
