Lodin comes to the ring accompanied by jag maste ringa carina. John Davies looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lodin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Lodin prevents Davies from escaping the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Davies wants to get back to his feet but Lodin is dominant here and he's now got Davies's back!
Lodin is trying to stick to Davies's back but Davies is turning into Lodin. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lodin's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Davies.

Lodin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Lodin drops back looking for a leg! Davies is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Davies manages to kick Lodin off! Lodin jumps back into Davies's guard.

Lodin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davies sprawls well initially but Lodin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Davies looks like he's trying to stand up.

Lodin seems to be working for a kimura but Davies defends the submission attempt.
Davies wants to get back to full guard but Lodin has mounted him!

BOOM! Lodin connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Davies's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Lodin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Davies is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Lodin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Davies is not content to let Lodin control the position.
Davies is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lodin asserts his dominance and retains side control.
A lull in the action here as Lodin stalls from top position.

Lodin passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Davies!
Davies is looking to improve his position but Lodin isn't that keen on the idea.
Lodin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Davies regains half guard.
Lodin stops Davies from getting back to his feet.
John Davies has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Davies misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Davies throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Patrik Lodin showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lodin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
