The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
leet finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
leet shoots in but no luck this time.

Mahkah wants to stand up but leet is controlling him.
Mahkah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mahkah escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. leet gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
leet swings for the body but Mahkah moves out of range.

Horrible takedown by leet or perhaps it was just good defense by Mahkah which made him look bad.
Mahkah lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mahkah.

Mahkah scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at leet to see if he's OK.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as leet holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to jet leet.
