Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chikere Morce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trunk Slamchest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chikere Morce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Trunk Slamchest!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morce takes a swing at Slamchest's ribcage but misses.
Morce tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Slamchest is able to avoid easily.

Morce gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Morce goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Slamchest wants a takedown.
Slamchest's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Slamchest's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Morce is pushing Slamchest up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Slamchest wants to break the clinch but can't.
Slamchest has Morce pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Morce manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Slamchest tries for a takedown but Morce sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morce will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Slamchest up against the cage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Morce, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
