Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brick Tamland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamland comes into the arena with Afternoon Delight blaring out of the sound system. Brick Tamland has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tamland throws a push kick but Lawson slaps the foot to one side.
Tamland finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lawson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tamland swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tamland wants to stand but Lawson is controlling the position.
Lawson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tamland swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lawson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tamland tries to avoid it but Lawson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tamland to the ground. Tamland escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tamland drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lawson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lawson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lawson!

A very excited looking Brick Tamland rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
