Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Armand Agasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Kaminski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcin Kaminski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Agasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcin Kaminski!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agasi looks to score with a jab to the body but Kaminski is just out of range.
Agasi throws a big shot that misses.

Kaminski throws a leg kick but Agasi sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kaminski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Agasi circles away quickly and effectively.
Agasi misses with a body shot.
Kaminski throws a sloppy head kick and Agasi moves out of range easily.
Agasi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kaminski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kaminski throws a low kick but it's checked well by Agasi.
We've been told by Agasi's head coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $425 fee) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaminski tries to land a front kick but Agasi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Kaminski throws a hook to the side of Agasi's head but Agasi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Agasi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Agasi shoots in and bounces Kaminski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Agasi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kaminski working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Kaminski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Agasi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Agasi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Agasi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kaminski.

That was a close round but I would say that Armand Agasi will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Agasi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaminski moves away.

Agasi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Agasi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kaminski can do anything to dispel that myth.
Agasi is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kaminski will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Agasi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
