Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dority (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomi has chosen Slaap lekker! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dority slips under a jab from Gomi.

Gomi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dority is fending him off so far but Gomi persists. Nope, Dority circles away and we're back to standing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Dority. Gomi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Dority tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gomi was well out of range. Poor timing from Dority.

Gomi tries to keep at a distance but Dority has taken the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dan Dority will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Gomi throws a series of strikes that have Dority backpedaling.
Gomi shoots in looking for a takedown. Dority tries to sprawl out of it but Gomi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dority manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dority clobbers Gomi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dority swings for the body but Gomi moves out of range.

Dority has had enough of the clinch but Gomi keeps him there for the moment.
Gomi tries to pull guard but Dority won't allow it.

Gomi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dority has worked his arm free - good work by Dority!
Gomi misses with the ground and pound.
Dority avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gomi.
Gomi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Dority dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Dority is staying active underneath Gomi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

I would just about give that final round to Kenny Gomi.
