The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulis looks to score with a jab to the body but Echano is just out of range.
Pulis throws a right and a left that Echano avoids nicely.
Echano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pulis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Echano.
Pulis misses with a two punch combination.
Pulis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Echano dodges the punch combination from Pulis.
Echano avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Echano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pulis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Echano counters with a shoot takedown. Pulis fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pulis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Echano advances position into side control!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Echano works to advance to full mount. Pulis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Pulis is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Echano has taken his back.
I would not like to be Pulis right now.

Echano working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Pulis is doing well to defend. Echano seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Pulis is forced to tap and this one is over!
