Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowakski has chosen Burning Down the House as his entrance music. Tony Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palowakski tries to clinch up.

Brown gets a takedown into half guard.
Palowakski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Palowakski can do anything to dispel that myth.

Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Palowakski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.

Brown seems to be looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Palowakski makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Brown fails to land the takedown.
Palowakski misses with a body shot.

Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palowakski's waist but Palowakski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Palowakski missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Palowakski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Palowakski wants it to stay on the feet.
Tony Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Brown perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palowakski is trying to get back to full guard.

Brown wants to control from the top but Palowakski keeps moving.
Brown passes into half guard.
Palowakski wants to get back to full guard.

Brown misses with a head shot. Palowakski uses the momentum to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown controls from within his opponent's guard.

Brown missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Palowakski wants to sweep but no luck.
Palowakski is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Palowakski stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet.
Brown slips a jab from Palowakski.
Palowakski throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brown avoids the body shot from Palowakski.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown jabs Palowakski right on the nose. Palowakski blinks but takes it well.
Brown stalks Palowakski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Palowakski's face. Palowakski staggers backwards, shaken.

Palowakski gets the takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Palowakski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Brown is looking to regain half guard here but Palowakski keeps moving and retains side control.
Palowakski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Brown prevents Palowakski from moving into mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Fred Palowakski will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Brown lands a nice looking body shot.

Brown closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brown lands in his opponent's guard.
Tony Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Brown pushing down on Palowakski's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Palowakski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Brown content to stall in guard here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Palowakski is on top in guard.

Brown is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Brown had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Palowakski defends it easily.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've been informed that Palowakski has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Brown pushes a forearm under Palowakski's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Palowakski is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tony Brown!
During a confident post fight interview, Tony Brown thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
