The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdul Muiz goes for a double leg but Brawl avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brawl continues to drive forward.
Brawl tries to work over Abdul Muiz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Brawl lands a shoulder strike.
Brawl lands with a short shot to the head.
Brawl lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Abdul Muiz backwards.
Abdul Muiz tries for a takedown. No joy.
Brawl lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
It looks like Aabid Abdul Muiz has been cut.
Brawl pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brawl throws a hook but Abdul Muiz blocks it.
Brawl throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brawl connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Abdul Muiz momentarily.

Brawl displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Abdul Muiz.
