Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randal Burt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zapson Kapson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Burt with that takedown attempt.
Kapson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Burt on his heels. He'll look to pass Burt's guard now, I'm sure.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kapson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kapson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kapson has managed to get both his arms back between Burt's legs - danger averted.

Kapson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Burt's guard.

Burt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kapson sprawls well initially but Burt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kapson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Burt.
Burt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kapson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kapson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kapson!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kapson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Some bone on bone action there as Burt checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Zapson Kapson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Zapson Kapson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
