The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havener lands with a nice body punch.

Sergeev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Sergeev thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Havener wants to control but Sergeev postures up.

Sergeev tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Havener can't do much from the bottom here.
