Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rob Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaazi Qyzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qyzan avoids the head kick by Davis.
Davis lands with a slapping head kick.
Davis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Davis misses with a double jab
and Qyzan counters with a straight right hand.
Davis fails with a takedown attempt.
Davis shoots in for a takedown but Qyzan shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Qyzan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davis looks to clinch
and Qyzan counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Davis misses with a wild combination.
Qyzan moves out of range as Davis throws a body kick.
Davis connects with a high kick.
Davis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Davis is breathing heavily.
Davis shoots in for a double leg but Qyzan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Davis tries for a takedown but Qyzan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Qyzan defends well and Davis ends up having to push Qyzan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Qyzan.
Davis goes for a takedown in the clinch but Qyzan prevents it.
Qyzan is pressed up against the cage. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Qyzan down to the mat. Qyzan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rob Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Davis.
Davis wants to clinch
and Qyzan counters with a straight right hand.

Davis thows a leg kick but Qyzan checks it

and Qyzan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Davis! Qyzan lets Davis back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Davis is rocked!
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Qyzan as he avoids it easily.
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis tries to clinch but Qyzan moves away
and Qyzan scores with a counter punch that sends Davis to the canvas! Qyzan smells blood - he's punishing Davis with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Davis has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
