The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a right hand that Gonzalez ducks under and follows up with a left that Gonzalez also avoids with ease.

Lee gets a double leg takedown into Gonzalez's guard.
Lee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Gonzalez is trying to control the position but Lee postures up.
Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lee throws a strike but Gonzalez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gonzalez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lee is trying to get back to his feet but Gonzalez has full control of the position and if anything, Lee has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Lee is nestled in close to Gonzalez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzalez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Gonzalez's temple.
