Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Oven!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller misses the shot to the body.
David Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Miller attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Oven gets the takedown into side control.
The referee asks Oven politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Oven prefers to stall for the moment though.
Oven's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Miller is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller manages to work his way to half guard, despite Oven's best efforts.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Oven, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Oven against the cage but Oven circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A jab lands there for Miller.

and Miller takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Oven connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Miller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Oven's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oven tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Miller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Oven sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Oven manages to work his way to half guard, despite Miller's best efforts.
Miller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Miller takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Miller tries to pass the half guard into mount. Oven knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Oven holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Oven is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oven wants to control but Miller is keeping busy.
Miller not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Still in half guard, Miller seems content to control.
David Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Miller throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oven was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller.
Oven uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Miller.
Miller darts in looking for a takedown but Oven gets double underhooks and turns Miller into the cage.
Oven wants to break free but Miller has control.

Oven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oven defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miller.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nice takedown defense from Oven. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
Oven on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Miller dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oven manages to avoid it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miller lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Oven has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Oven and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Miller throws a looping overhand right but Oven ducks down to avoid it.

Oven is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
George Oven seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Oven makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Oven ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Miller shoots in but no luck this time.
Miller shoots in for a double leg but Oven sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Miller looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Miller throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Miller tries to bum rush Oven with a series of wild strikes but Oven uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Miller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Oven under the eye.
Miller misses with a takedown
and Oven counters with a straight right hand.
Oven scoring well with a low kick there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Oven does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oven keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Miller.
Oven has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Miller.
Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oven tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oven to the ground. Oven escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Miller is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

I would just about give that final round to George Oven.
