Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodriguez Verde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Sebastian!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verde gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sebastian counters with a one-two to the body.

Sebastian rushes Verde and presses him up against the cage.
Sebastian goes for a takedown attempt but Verde pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Verde has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Verde there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sebastian swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Verde.
Verde darts in trying to clinch
and Sebastian counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Nice uppercut there from Sebastian.
Verde shoots and misses
and Sebastian counters with a left and a right that stings Verde.

Sebastian drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sebastian trying to control but Verde is working from the bottom.
Verde is trying to control the position but Sebastian postures up.
Sebastian passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Verde tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sebastian wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

What's Verde going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Sebastian has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at GreatWall MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Sebastian is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Verde looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sebastian gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Verde is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sebastian lets go of the hold and Verde can pop his arm back in it's socket.
