Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mike Hunt has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range.
Hunt throws a body kick that misses.
Snow has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Snow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Snow throws a looping overhand right but Hunt ducks down to avoid it.
Snow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hunt.
Hunt moves in looking to clinch but Snow pushes him off.
Hunt tries to clinch but Snow moves out of range.
Snow avoids the body shot from Hunt.

Snow is trying to control the position but Hunt postures up.

Hunt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Snow is looking for a triangle but Hunt pushes his legs off easily.
Snow is pulling down on Hunt's head to control his posture.

Hunt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Snow's guard.
Snow moves into full guard.

Snow throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hunt escapes and throws Snow's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Hunt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snow, who protects the arm well.
Snow is looking to regain half guard here but Hunt keeps moving and retains side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hunt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hunt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hunt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Hunt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snow, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snow tries to improve position but can't.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Snow counters with a leg kick.
Hunt tries to clinch

Horrible takedown attempt by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Snow, which made it look bad.
Snow tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Snow counters with a thumping low kick.
Hunt moves to clinch but Snow breaks away
and Hunt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Snow lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jon Snow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
