The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stupko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Palma swivels and escapes.
Stupko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Palma wants to get back to his feet.
Stupko wants to work for an arm triangle but Palma is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stupko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Palma doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stupko.
Stupko is trying to work for a kimura but Palma is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stupko has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Palma defend it? Stupko steps over the head and cranks it - Palma is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stupko!
