The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shaw looks to score with a jab to the body but Evans is just out of range.
Shaw shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Evans is trying to defend but Shaw finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Shaw has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Evans is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Evans tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Shaw's elbow.

Shaw has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Evans seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Shaw can turn it around.

Nick Evans really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that The Empire Clothing and Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
