The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnur misses with the combination.
Schnur misses with a takedown attempt - Dark sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Schnur tries for a takedown but Dark circles away easily
and Dark counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dark.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dark is pushing down on Schnur's leg trying to pass to half guard. Schnur is fighting to maintain full guard but Dark has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dark is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Schnur doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dark.
Dark is looking for a kimura but Schnur is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dark to get the leverage.
Dark is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schnur sees it coming and defends easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dark has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Schnur defend it? Dark steps over the head and cranks it - Schnur is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Dark!
