Freyr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Twilight of the Thunder God kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Njord Freyr has been cut.
Powers fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Powers lands a front kick.
Freyr looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Freyr misses with a wild body shot.
Freyr keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Powers.
Powers avoids the body shot from Freyr.
Powers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Freyr throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Freyr motions for Powers to come forward. Freyr throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Powers lunges at Freyr with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Freyr's hand.

That has opened up Njord Freyr's cut even more.
Freyr fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Powers checks it well.
Freyr misses with a low kick.
Freyr throws a wild body kick that Powers sees coming a mile off.
Freyr throws a half hearted mid kick.
Powers ducks under a wild hook from Freyr.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Powers thuds his right hand into Freyr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left and a right from Freyr both land. Nice combination.
Powers is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Powers takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Powers drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Freyr right on the button. Freyr goes down! Powers follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Powers gets the win via TKO!
