Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley throws the left hand but Echano avoids the punch easily.
Foley misses with a right hand
and Echano counters with a big head kick but Foley shrugs it off.
Foley throws a jab but it's blocked by Echano.
Echano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Foley misses with an uppercut.
Foley looks to score with a jab to the body but Echano is just out of range.
Foley misses with a right hand
and Echano counters with a head kick.
Foley keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Foley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Echano doesn't seem bothered though.
Foley jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Echano shoots in but no luck this time.
Foley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Foley looks to throw the jab but Echano is out of range.
Foley throws a hook to the side of Echano's head but Echano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Echano closes the distance and clinches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Echano is trying to pull guard but Foley has him pressed against the cage.
James Foley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Angel Echano.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Foley lands a nice shot to the body.
Echano is working Foley over against the cage.
Foley swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Echano drags the fight down to the ground.
Echano is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Foley has his hands clasped together but Echano extends and breaks Foley's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Echano.
