Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rio Pape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pape wants to clinch but Man slips to the side

and Man counters by moving into the clinch.

Man decides to pull guard.

Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man wants to control but Pape is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Pape wants to lay and pray for a moment but Man keeps working.

Pape sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Man defending well though.
Pape knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Man on the ground.

Well Man has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
