The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knope throws a jab when Del Rosario was well out of range.
Knope throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Del Rosario.
Knope throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Del Rosario stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A combination from Knope does no damage.
Knope throws a jab but it's blocked by Del Rosario.
Del Rosario looks to throw the jab but Knope is out of range.
Del Rosario goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Del Rosario ducks under a wild hook from Knope.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Del Rosario.
Knope takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Del Rosario lands a big right hand that sends Knope crashing to the mat! Del Rosario stays standing though and waves Knope back to his feet!

It looks like Ben Knope has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Knope has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Del Rosario thuds his right hand into Knope's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Knope scores with the left hand. Del Rosario knows he should have avoided that one.
Del Rosario looks for the body kick but Knope saw that one coming.
Knope keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Del Rosario getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Knope is rocked!
Knope throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Knope is still on wobbly legs! Can Del Rosario finish him?
Del Rosario cracks Knope with a left hook right on the temple and Knope goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Del Rosario lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Knope is OK!
