The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kairuz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kairuz fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tural chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kairuz throws a head kick that misses.

Tural gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kairuz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kairuz wants to pass the guard but Tural is keeping the position.
Kairuz wants to control from the top but Tural keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Kairuz is trying to drag Tural to the mat but Tural just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kairuz seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Kairuz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tural pushes Kairuz against the cage. Tural is working some dirty boxing. Tural pushes off with a quick right hook! Kairuz goes down! Kairuz tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Tural moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
