Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rey Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ueki Boku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rey Johnston has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rey Johnston seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boku shoots in and drives through. Johnston sprawls well.
Johnston goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Johnston fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Johnston counters with a head kick. That will keep Boku thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Johnston leaves Boku with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rey Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ueki Boku.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boku shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnston manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boku's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Johnston could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Boku pushes a forearm under Johnston's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Johnston is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
