Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mordred Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nisse Metaxa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metaxa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Skillet-Hero. Mordred Deschain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Deschain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Deschain moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Deschain lands with a straight right. Metaxa didn't see that one coming.
We've been told by Deschain's head coaches at Soco na mãe - Stand Up Striking that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Deschain takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Metaxa throws an overhand right that lands on Deschain's shoulder, as Deschain tries to avoid the shot.
Nisse Metaxa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Metaxa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A punch lands to the side of Metaxa 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Metaxa moves forwards but Deschain connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Deschain sizes up Metaxa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Deschain lands with a kick to the temple. Metaxa shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fighters circling - Metaxa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Metaxa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Deschain scores with a kick to the midsection.
Metaxa misses with a straight left.
A telegraphed right hand from Metaxa misses the target.
Metaxa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Deschain throws a nice looking combination but Metaxa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Metaxa takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Metaxa throws a jab but it's blocked by Deschain.
Metaxa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Deschain finds it's way round the side to connect with Metaxa's head.
Deschain lets loose with a powerful body kick. Metaxa will feel that in the morning.

A combination from Metaxa does no damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Deschain cracks Metaxa with a good jab.
Metaxa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Metaxa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Deschain lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Deschain lands with a kick to the ribs.
Deschain connects with a jab.
Metaxa drops his hands momentarily and Deschain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Metaxa is rocked!
Metaxa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Metaxa is still on wobbly legs! Can Deschain finish him?
Deschain thuds a left hand into Metaxa's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Deschain cracks Metaxa with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Deschain slips a jab and a cross from Metaxa.
Deschain is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Metaxa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Deschain drops Metaxa with a straight right hand, right on the button! Deschain follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
