Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Gsp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tikuana St Regis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gsp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
St Regis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gsp tries to avoid it but St Regis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gsp to the ground. Gsp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

St Regis seems to be working for a kimura but Gsp defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown attempt by Gsp or perhaps it was just good defense by St Regis , which made it look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

St Regis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gsp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gsp wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

St Regis is working to tighten his grip on Gsp's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gsp has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but St Regis is really squeezing tight and eventually Gsp passes out! St Regis breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
