The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nales is looking to clinch but Deathgrip is avoiding it.

Nales closes the distance and clinches.
Deathgrip jumps guard but Nales stands there with Deathgrip around his waist. Deathgrip gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nales wants a takedown.
Nales working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Nales lands with a left to the head.
A right hand to the body from Nales.
Nales tries to land a knee to the head but Deathgrip blocks with his arms.

Nales jumps guard and drags Deathgrip to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Nales looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nales lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Oh Deathgrip is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Deathgrip will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nales decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Nales throws an overhand right that has Deathgrip reeling! Nales follows up with more punches and Deathgrip is out cold! This one is all over!
