Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Amilian Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Jasshole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Amilian Vega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Jasshole!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega is looking to clinch.
Jasshole uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vega.
Vega misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jasshole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vega.
Jasshole slips a straight right by Vega.
Vega shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jasshole pinned against the cage. Jasshole gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jasshole connects with a jab.
Jasshole throws a head kick that misses.
Vega doesn't manage to clinch there - Jasshole circles away.
Vega tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vega scores with the left hand. Jasshole knows he should have avoided that one.
Some bone on bone action there as Jasshole checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vega misses with a right hand
and Jasshole counters with a body kick that stops Vega in his tracks momentarily.
Vega throws a leg kick but Jasshole checks it.
Vega misses with a hook. Jasshole ducked under it nicely.

Vega looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Jasshole cracks the inside of Vega's front leg.
We've been hearing reports that Vega has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Vega looks to score with a jab to the body but Jasshole is just out of range.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Vega gets caught napping as Jasshole dives in and scores a takedown. Vega manages to retain guard.

Vega is looking to control Jasshole's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vega avoid being mounted?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jasshole looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Vega is looking for a sweep. Jasshole is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Vega is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jasshole pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Jasshole clinches with his opponent.
Jasshole has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A short right from Vega on the inside.
Vega is trying to break the clinch but Jasshole is controlling him.

Jasshole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vega loads up on a big right hand but Jasshole slips the punch.

Jasshole manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Vega on his heels. He'll look to pass Vega's guard now, I'm sure.

Jasshole gets to his feet. Vega looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Jasshole drives through with a takedown into Vega's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Vega bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jasshole's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jasshole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vega. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vega accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vega is looking to advance position but Jasshole has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Jasshole avoids the attempt from Vega to control.
Vega can't escape the position.
Vega is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Hugh Jasshole has got the better of the ground game so far.

Jasshole wants to control the pace but Vega is squirming around nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hugh Jasshole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Vega throws a right hand that Jasshole ducks under and follows up with a left that Jasshole also avoids with ease.

and Jasshole counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Vega escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jasshole gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Vega sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hugh Jasshole is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Vega makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vega.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vega throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Jasshole stays in close to Vega's body and controls the position.
Jasshole is continuing to stall.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Vega throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vega rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jasshole counters with a nice body kick.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Vega throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jasshole fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vega, pushing him back against the cage.

Jasshole pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vega misses the shot to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hugh Jasshole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jasshole winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Hugh Jasshole was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
